Crucial Unit are a Thrash band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I decided to put up this album in particular because it's a semi-discography containing - premium iced tea 7", moshzilla 7", killed in action split 7", + 11 compilation tracks and a live set from WPTS 92.1. It's fucking brilliant.

Shortlived - Demo '07

I found this release a while back from the Mad Blasts Of Chaos blog, chur :).



Shortlived are form Wellington and play a fast, thrashy style of hardcore. The few times I have seen them live have been intense, loud and fast... The crowd really gets into it. This is a nice 4 track demo that I really cannot get enough of.

Ampere - First Five Years

Ampere came to NZ last year and played a fucking amazing show. I was blown away by how good they were, having not really heard much of their stuff before. So when I got home I downloaded their album called "The First Five Years". Since then I've been listening to it frequently and I still love it. So I decided I'd share the greatness with you lot. wooooooo! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Wasteland Demo

This is Wasteland's (from Hamilton) unreleased demo. It's really good, fast and aggressive. They're also real nice dudes.

I got the tracks from the Mad Blasts Of Chaos blog (check it out, it's really good), but thought I'd make it easier for lazy people by making it into a Zip file and chucking it up on Mediafire.

Ben Clancy(drummer) recently told me they had just finished recording a new CD and will be released next year or something? I can't quite remember. But I do look forward to hearing it. Look out for it. Also look out for Wasteland at a local show/house party. They bring the vibes.

Thrashing In The Streets are a thrashy skate hardcore band from Lansing, Michigan, United States(according to their myspace page). I've been listening to them again and remembered how good they are. Then I remembered they had kindly put their discography up for download on their myspace. Lucky for you you don't have to travel all the way over there to get it because you can just download it right now from here. It's well worth downloading.
