Enoch Ardon are a Spanish Screamo band, very similar sounding to Orchid. Guitarist, Rubo was in NZ a few months back where he played in Sworn To The King, who I have done a previous post on.

An Emerald City are an experimental, ambient instrumental band from New Zealand but I think they are now located in Berlin. This band, in my opinion is amazing. They have an almost Middle Eastern/Indian sound, this is done with the use of violin(or some sort of string instrument),the Sitar and the Tubla(I think I heard that somewhere in there). Very psychedelic.

Mean Streak are a newish Hardcore band from Hamilton. Rising from the ashes of This Is This and containing members from many well known past/current hardcore bands in NZ, they haven't had that much trouble finding their feet and gaining a following in the local hardcore scene. Similar musically to This Is This, Mean Streak seem to be more mature lyrically. Mean Streak's influences include Blood For Blood and Death Threat.

This band I don't know too much about. They're from the Gold Coast of Australia and play metalic hardcore dark shit. I'm listening to the EP thingy for the first time as I type this out, I'm liking it. A little birdy also tells me that Ghost Town are touring NZ with Gold Kids in November! Keep an eye out for that.
