Meth Drinker are a sludge doom metal band from Wellington. I caught a little bit of their set at Punkfest last year but was too drunk to really realise what was happening but I caught them again at an Auckland house party the other week and holy fuck they were awesome. Heavy and slow as fuck, and when the tempo did pick up I almost shat my pants. I'm pretty sure their record is all sold out now but you can still listen to some tracks on their bandcamp or you could purchase a CD for $10 from Alwaysneverfunrecords
