Exhumation Recordings

It's been ages since I've posted. But I'm still here!

My good man, Josh Hughes from Bloodletting, has started a new label to help out NZ bands. It's called Exhumation Recordings. He already has a few bands on the label including my own bands, No Greater Power and Buzzkill. Other bands also on the label include - Bloodletting, Leader To Ruin, The Dauntless and Vixen Execution. Check it out. Add it. Support it. Exhumation Recordings is totally D.I.Y and is in place to basically support bands and gain exposure.

The first proper Exhumation Recordings show is a free show at PR Bar on the 6th of February. The show is in association with Bfm's Hard Fast And Heavy show. Come along and have a mean as time!

HELP OUT MY BOYZ! VOTING NOW ENDED!

OK voting has now ended apparently. Thanks to all who voted for either Ponny Fight or The Randoms. I don't think either of them made it though, which means you guys didn't vote enough. Yeeeah.. I'll be back.....

"OOOOHHHHH SHIIIITTT! MAJOR EDIT TO THIS POST!*** (see bottom)

My good mates The Randoms are trying to win a spot to play at the Big Day Out. I would be amazing if you could take 10 seconds out of your day to click this link and scroll down, listen to their song they have on the page and vote for them. :) the more votes the more likely that they will get to play BDO.

***my little brothers Drum and Bass band called Ponny Fight have also entered this competition! They are a few bands down from The Randoms. Check them both out, choose your fave and vote for them. I found out you can vote every week so do that please! help my mates or my brother!

Raise from the dead?

My old improvised grindcore band, Grind Thugs, may be coming back to play Force Fed Trauma's EP release show. pretty excited. If you've seen us before you know to expect nothing and to expect everything. You never know what's going to happen at a Grind Thugs show. Anyway here's a video to remember us and our favourtie venue, necropolis.

No Greater Power EP has been released! and a fund raiser show!

No greater power have just released our first EP since our formation in '05. It contains 5 tracks including an intro. The EP was recorded by Tom (our bassist) in his bed room and the artwork and designs were done by me (Ahnand). You can buy the EP from our shows for $5

...

In other news this coming Friday No Greater Power and my other band, Buzzkill, will be playing at clockwork studio in Ellerslie to raise money for Rory's(of leader to ruin) cousin's baby who is in need of an operation.

Come along, get drunk as, buy a NGP ep, and have a mean time!

NEW FORCE FED TRAUMA TRACK!

Force Fed Trauma have finally uploaded a fully recorded track to their myspace page. The track is downloadable as well!!!! What good cunts.

New Recordings - NGP

No Greater Power have a new recording, which is sort of teaser track from their upcoming EP. You can find it on their myspcae page. The track is called "You Will Fall". It's an old song but still one of my favourite to play live.

The track is still to add some gang vocals and have a bit of tweaking... I think.

FUCKING HAI!

I decided to make this page mainly to promote young metal/hardcore/punk bands in New Zealand. I want to put up demos/EPs for download and advertise/review shows etc, well as some other shit. I am also willing to do artwork/designs for t shirt designs, album art and show posters (but only when i have time).

For any bands wanting to be put up on here, or if you think any I should put up a band here, give me an email at ahnand.unka@hotmail.com or a message on my myspace page
